Deerhunter – Desire Lines

Not sure what it is about this song that has me hitting the repeat button. It’s closing in on seven minutes long, when I usually find that to be much too long.

It’s been nice having my son home but it means I am staying up later than I want to and unlike him, I can no longer sleep all that late in the morning. So this is all you get today.

  1. Wonder if this is a universal Gen X experience, staying up late to get extra time in with your teen/young adult children. I’m thinking that won’t end until they are at the age when they want to go to bed early.

    1. That’s not really why I’m staying up late. I just can’t go to sleep unless the house is quiet and given the layout of our house, I need everyone to be in their rooms.
